I find the most joy in creating both physical and digital art to bring my characters to life, using two very different mediums for the same purpose. Within my digital art I tell stories and show snapshots of my characters’ adventures, oftentimes reflections of my own personal experiences. With my sewing and crafting, I can make these characters physically real through costumes, plushies, and other items. By working with such distinct materials, I aim to resonate with viewers on all different levels. Each piece has meaning and value, with stories and lessons woven into the art in a way that isn’t always the most obvious. However, the most important aspect of my art is how I bring my characters to life, giving them purpose and characteristics within my creations.
