This year, I created a series investigating how life circumstances can shape how one perceives, feels and values time, using fabric to symbolize its sensation: the weight of time, its elusiveness, its absence. But beyond this, I hoped to build a stronger foundation for expressing emotion and meaning in my works from implementing it into figure drawings to experimenting more with color.
