Bella Coughlin
My art is about me and my curiosity for the world. From why my mind works the way it does, to what it truly means to be in this world. Art allows me to really interpret the thoughts and ideas that come into my brain. I often feel my "head is in the clouds" and my paintings convey that feeling, constantly being trapped in this dream of a world. I usually use paint for my materials because the way oil and acrylic paints build up helps me express dreamlike wonder.
While I still have a while to go on my painting journey, art always stays close to my heart throughout the days. I am hoping in the coming years I will capture these ideas more expressly, as well as explore creative ways to interpret the media I use.
