Bradley Goldsmith

One thing I am very mentally preoccupied with is perspective. I am constantly trying to interpret things in different ways, to understand how everyone else's idiosyncrasies influence the way they feel about the world. What I have noticed is two things: by trying to adopt other's perspectives, I have neglected my own and that my own interpretations of the world do not easily fit in with those of the people I care about. Through my art, I try to explore myself visually. My goal is to produce something that may mimic reality, but is warped by my own perspective. I want my art to reflect the feelings that I cannot really explain, that make me uneasy, that cannot be expressed correctly in any other way. The result is confusing--welcome to my mind.
