My paintings explore how depictions of different relationships, that I have captured with my camera, can be reproduced. By painting these photos, I can enhance the composition in a new way that allows the memory to be clearer and more emotional. The physical features, like the face and body, and the varied detail among my composition allows my art to portray the variety of emotions, and the story that every relationship carries. By using photos that have a personal connection to me, I have allowed myself to create art with more of a purpose that I can illuminate in my creations.
