My art seeks to explain feelings we may experience but are too ashamed, frightened, or confused to verbalize. Through texture, color, and mark making, the pieces I create provide a unique perspective on a variety of topics. Whether it be grief, identity, politics, or internal struggles, I seek to realize emotions and experiences that are familiar and relatable to the everyday person. I hope to invoke some sort of innate urge that causes the viewer to have a visceral reaction. My art is for the people who want to feel human.
