Jillian Cusick
As an artist I want to push the boundaries of my own creativity and make my audience think about the world in a new way. I find inspiration from both reality and Dadaism. In my experience there is a freedom that comes with exploring a more surreal and at times absurd style. It enables me to feel out my work while creating it rather than needing to plan each detail. Most of my work is subjective but whether it be a focus on the subjects themselves or the colors and shadows in the work, I always strive to express something extraordinary.
