My art pieces largely portray a sense of beauty and calm within the bustling world around us. Through my use of color and material I capture temporary stills that can be changed or interrupted in an instant. Over the course of this year I have been trying to accept that some things can’t ever be perfect, and sometimes evoking the desired feeling is enough. I hope that my pieces can bring a sense of peace to someone looking for an escape from the constant movement of the world and help them see that even in this constant movement, short moments of calm can be found.
