Katrina Bauermeister
Using one simple color plus black and white, I express minimalistic ideas. To me, black conveys the idea of emptiness and barren space. Red shows vulnerability, as it reminds me of injury. White channels positivity and completion, which also contrasts the black. These three elements supports an open interpretation allowing multiple perceptions of my art.
