I try to make art that conveys the colorful inner world that exists inside every person and in their relationships, complex or simple, with other beings or objects. I love to explore different media such as digital art and collaging, but painting and drawing will always be what first made me love art and are my favorite media to work with.
When drawing or painting, I usually find inspiration in one small image or idea in my mind and mess around with the surrounding scenery from there. Or, when taking photographs, I usually find myself inspired by the way the light looks at a particular moment, or I see an animal posed adorably but just about to move. I take many photos quickly and from different angles, before cropping it and adjusting the lighting.
I love to wonder about the imagination in every person’s mind and what it might hold. I also love to create imagery of my friends that shows how colorfully I see them. I see visual art as a method of exploring people’s personalities, whether they are real or fictional, in a way that words cannot. I make my artwork as an attempt at harnessing this power.
