My artwork takes inspiration from living things. I find that rich, thick color is the best palette from which to work. The thick texture and deep hues of pastels make them the ideal tool for my style of art. I tend to create a detailed, mathematical outline beneath my final work. This method enables me to be far less restrained as I begin to layer the medium. The final piece shows my impression of the organism at hand.
