My philosophy in life is to not take everything so seriously and it applies to my artwork too. I used bright colors and abstract mark making to show that growing up doesn’t mean giving up on small things that make you happy. I am always playing around with new materials and combine my growing technique with my childlike curiosity. I use different canvas types to allow my work to look like individual pieces of my imagination. Overall, I want to show that childishness is not always a fault but a strength.
