In my art, I seek to investigate and question the world around me and the world within me. My art addresses my experiences as a changing, growing, and curious adolescent trying to navigate the political climate as well as personal inquiries. The adult political world is filled with ruthless, chaotic, and complex issues that adolescents are thrown into- a stark contrast to the black and white previous perspective of politics- and we must decide what we now believe in as individuals. Adolescents must now find out what we actually want and navigate this new world. I hope my art paints a picture of the emotions and struggles we feel as we ascend into the unknown.
