How does a changing identity affect our reality? People are ever-changing, which can feel uncomfortable especially during your youth while trying to find your identity. My investigation explores the mix of emotions in a person’s mind which influences their thoughts. Contrasting blended and unblended oil pastels, soft lines represent comforting emotions while harsh strokes create unease. Swirls are a recurring symbol, emphasizing the mix of emotions. Eventually the figure learns to handle these emotions while finding an identity.
