I use both the medium of fashion and video to express my thoughts and emotions. When looking at my clothes, I want viewers to gain a sense of who I am as a person, as those works showcase my interests and are more personal than my video art. To that point, I want my videos to be stark, oppressive, and almost raw. I want the viewer to feel a sense of dread. My video pieces take influence mostly from Noise Music and artists such as. The GeroGeriGeGeGe, Masonna, Einstürzende Neubauten, and the movie Skinamarink, while my clothes are directly in line with Metal music's culture of creating "battle jackets." I'd like my viewers to make connections to alternative DIY clothing, and experiences they may have had with avant garde art in the past. The clothes convey my personal interests, while my videos express my desire to provoke.
